ACCA gathers business leaders in Faisalabad to enhance accountants' role in boosting Pakistan's economic development

                                            


ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) hosted a large-scale corporate conference here in Faisalabad today on the theme ‘Being Bold: Shaping a Sustainable Future in Uncertain Times’ featuring the country’s top business and thought leaders and policymakers.

 

This ground-breaking event brought together thought leaders, experts, and professionals from diverse sectors to discuss and deliberate on crucial topics surrounding Sustainability, Ethics, Leadership, Future-Ready Talent, and Digital Transformation.                       .

 

The conference was attended by many prominent names in the corporate sector, as well as leading policymakers and members of the provincial cabinet.

While speaking to the audience Our Guest of Honor Senator Walid Iqbal – Member of Senate of Pakistan said that “As a professional, we must navigate our path during uncertain times, towards a sustainable future. The journey is not smooth – all we need to do is to stay positive and contribute towards the wider profession. The bigger the setback – The greater would be the comeback”.

 

Dr. Khurram Tariq – President, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry Our 2nd Guest of Honor spoke on sustainability. He said “Global Economy is evolving at rapid pace; new players are emerging especially around Technology and Innovation. We need to gear-up to stay relevant and flourish on sustainable path – which is an on-going process”.

 

At the conference, ACCA, industry and thought leaders shared insights, practical guidance, strategies, and solutions to enable businesses and policymakers to embrace these new technologies and create a conducive environment for innovation and entrepreneurship. Featuring contributions from forward-thinking thought leaders, the conference programme included a future-focused panel conversation on the topic of “C-suite Leadership: Championing Ethics, Trust, Sustainability and Accountability”.

YouTube Partner Program paves new methods for content creators to earn revenue on the platform

             Today YouTube announced the expansion of its monetisation system with   YouTube Partner Program  (YPP). YouTube shared that it is expanding the platform’s monetization system to allow more creators to join the program by new ways for creators to earn revenue through Shorts, and re-imagining the music industry and creator dynamic by opening up ads monetization for those who feature music in their videos.
