PakStockPhoto and The Embassy of Pakistan, Thailand celebrate Independence Day through virtual photo exhibition



PakStockPhoto and the Embassy of Pakistan in Thailand are celebrating the 74th Independence through a three weeks long virtual photo exhibition. The theme of the exhibition is “Our Pakistan.” It is showcasing a wide range of Pakistani images including extraordinary landscapes, rich cultural heritage, varied diversity and hospitable people. These efforts will help promote international tourism and draw more investment into the country to help boost the economy. The exhibition is currently live and can be seen on https://www.pakstockphoto.com/exhibition.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, PakStockPhoto found an innovative way to showcase Pakistan to the rest of the world. With its mission to rebrand Pakistan, this exhibition is just one example of the partnership PakStockPhoto is developing with public institutions to create a fresh new image of Pakistan.

A total of 25 high quality images by talented Pakistani and international photographers were selected for the exhibition to showcase Pakistan along with powerful storylines.

PakStockPhoto (https://pakstockphoto.com) is Pakistan’s first and largest stock image library, who is on a mission to rebrand Pakistan. The images on the platform are related to Pakistani culture, nature, heritage, people, landscape, urban/rural areas, entrepreneurship, technology, professionals, health, and other similar local themes. The platform is empowering more than 800 local photographers ranging from 18 to 70 years old with female photographers making up 35% of their contributors. The platform has been featured in the Independent Urdu, Dawn News, ProPakistani and TechJuice.

Economic confidence among finance professionals edges higher globally despite big fall in North America

                                            The latest ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and IMA ®  (Institute of Management Accountants)  Global Economic Conditions Survey (GECS) suggests that confidence among accountants and finance professionals edged slightly higher in Q2 2024 and is just above its historical average.  For chief financial officers (CFOs), all the key global indicators rose, with sharp gains evident in the New Orders and Capital Expenditure indices.   There were some notable regional differences . Western Europe-based accountants reported another decent increase in confidence as the euro area and UK economies continue to stage recoveries.
